Was not worth it. There were maybe 15 good turns throughout the 10 or 15 miles I drove on it. Plus, I had to fill up in Beverly Hills. $4.35 for 91 octane? No thanks.

Yea, there are much better roads out by Topanga.

You lot in the US aren't allowed to complain about fuel prices. $4.35 is almost exactly half the average UK price for regular unleaded. The good stuff somewhere expensive will set you back nearly $10 per US gallon.

I would kill someone to fill up at $4.35 :)

Well at least you checked it off the bucket-list, even if it was a let down.

It's better out by Topanga, but there are better roads.

I'm pretty sure you paid approximately the going price for 91 in CA though. Just filled up two cars today and paid about the same in SF.

If you were driving near Beverly Hills or Hollywood then no of course its not worth it. Need to go west near Calabasas heading towards Malibu then you'll find Mulholland Highway, Stunt Rd., Tuna Fish Canyon all of which will lead you hard and fast downhill to the beach so I hope you have good brakes

Drives through Beverly Hills. Complains about $4.
